Widevine Firefox



Enable Widevine on Firefox 47. Firefox 47 (and probably later versions) have own adapter for Chrome CDMs. Student led conferencesthird grade reading streets. But it is not enabled at compilation time. Therefore to get Widevine working you still need to build own version, but don't need to patch sources anymore. First, create a working directory, go there, and download Firefox 47 source code.

One of my Windows 10 computers that's running Firefox 57.0.4 has recently enabled a 'Widevine Content Decryption Module' plugin from Google. I did not install this and I cannot find a way to uninstall or delete it, but I did 'disable' it. I have three questions:
1. How can Firefox (without my knowledge or consent) download, install, and enable this, or any other plugin?Firefox
